Neal and I just recently moved into our new apartment, and it was the perfect opportunity to purge my closet. By the time I looked up (nearly seven trash bags deep), I was a bit bummed that I had to donate quite a bit of the fast-trending clothes. I made a promise thereafter to invest in more classic pieces that are retained over time, yet can be mixed them up in several styles to keep it fresh. Those that made the cut included this light-weight wool top and comfy neutral-colored pants.
I absolutely love this peplum top mostly because its shape is flattering and versatile. The material is great for those unpredictable days when the weather is warm one minute and in mere hours chilly. In this case, I can ditch the usual blazer and use it as an extra layer of warmth.
These pants are my go-to pair because it can be worn dressy or casual. I pulled off a pair bold of cobalt heels and underneath a stripped collared shirt for a more polished look. For a more chilled vibe, though, these pointed flats and a basic white tee are a great match.
I can’t get enough of Beehive Boutique accessories! These sunnies were so worth the hour ride from Dallas to Fort Worth with my girl Porsha who got a pair of really cool green ones too!
Thank you for reading and hope the rest of your week is awesome!
