I turned one year wiser on July 22nd, and to be honest with you, my 30s thus far have been the best! Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes!
This post is dedicated to the beautiful souls lost in Orlando. You are loved!
There’s something I really appreciate about vintage fashion. It’s like putting on a piece of history. Sometimes, I wonder what the first woman who wore it was like and if we had the same taste in clothing.
Vintage Tex totally gets what I mean because every time I visit them they always bring it. Like so much of their selection, this dress brings life with its bold vibrant colors. Simply put – it makes me really happy!
It’s officially Summer and I couldn’t be more excited! Welcome to the days of pool side chillin’, my birthday and an excuse to show off those legs.
This dress brings back so many wonderful memories from our recent travels to Curacao – a small island north of Venezuela. It was such a blast! From eating iguana stew for the first time (taste like chicken – yum), Neal jumping off a 40-foot cliff, one breathtaking ATV tour of the countryside and shopping of course.
Neal and I just recently moved into our new apartment, and it was the perfect opportunity to purge my closet. By the time I looked up (nearly seven trash bags deep), I was a bit bummed that I had to donate quite a bit of the fast-trending clothes. I made a promise thereafter to invest in more classic pieces that are retained over time, yet can be mixed them up in several styles to keep it fresh. Those that made the cut included this light-weight wool top and comfy neutral-colored pants.
