This dress brings back so many wonderful memories from our recent travels to Curacao – a small island north of Venezuela. It was such a blast! From eating iguana stew for the first time (taste like chicken – yum), Neal jumping off a 40-foot cliff, one breathtaking ATV tour of the countryside and shopping of course.
I’ve always had a thrill of searching for where the locals shop no matter where I’m at. Curacao was no exception. We found ourselves stumbling across this cute local boutique in Willemstad where I got this pretty dress.
What mostly drew me into it was its femininity from the various lace details and lovely silhouette it was calling my name.
Just to toughen it up a bit, I included black leather and metal touches from the belt and shoes that I snagged on a great sale.
After admiring my great buy, we were off to curb our sweet tooth and take in our last days in one of the most beautiful hidden gems that's hardly talked about.
